There is much excitement watching a litter arrive! Watching pups grow brings much joy.
A breeder has many responsibilities as well.  Breeding requires an average of 130 hours to raise one litter. Breeders must get up at night in the early life of the pups to feed and clean up. Breeding is a real job that requires a lot of love and passion. The price for rehoming is fairly modest compared to the work of raising the litter. A breeder must show up when necessary even after regular work hours. And unlike most jobs, you can not quit if something does go wrong or you no longer are interested. Animals are not toys that can be dumped at a dog shelter when you get bored. It's family. Complications or sicknesses add to time and money spent for vet visits and care.  Many hours are spent separately doing paperwork and communicating with buyers.
Breeding does not make a whole lot of money if done properly by giving the animals the best of care and feeding expensive high quality feed. We do not keep our dogs in cages, kennels, alone, in compact areas, or in unclean circumstances. This type of breeding is unethical and makes the breeder gain from another's pain. We strive to bring healthy, happy, active, social, and handsome Englich Cream characteristics pups into the world. Thank you for being a part of our family.
Breeding is a genuine dedication and love for animals when done properly.
